After hearing so much praise towards it, I finally decided to read The Hunger Games series. I finished the first installment in a day and a half, if not less. I just couldn’t put it down. I’m still reeling from how good it is.
Catching Fire hasn’t quite reached that same level of excitement for me. I’m definitely struggling to find that spark that kept me reading The Hunger Games, but I never give up once I’ve started reading something, and I’m determined to see this story to the end.
Personally, not any part of the two installments had topped the spark the first book gave. I rated the first book 5 stars, and the two 3 stars.
